Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Black-brown with a thick frothy off-white head. Has a fairly easy but not quite thin texture for its strength. The liquorice influence is best in aftertaste, but light throughout. Comes across as an easy understated dark malt ale.

half pint on cask at the brewpub. Medium creamy beige head. Clear almost black pour. Light liquorice aftertaste
