Bottle shared by ippopotamo36 @Buskers Pub (Rome), thanks Alberto! Dark honey appearance with a little off-white foam. Aroma is malty, caramel, brown sugar, some roasted notes. Flavour is sweet, malt, caramel, a bit unbalanced, alcohol is very well hidden. Medium body, medium to light carbonation. Boring.

At a private tasting in Belgrade/Serbia. It pours reddish brown, bit hazy, small off white head. Nose is caramel and raisins. Mouth is a bit watery, just hints of dry fruits here and there.

Pours a coppery / light brown color with a substantial off-white head which quickly settles down to only a small cover. The aroma is pretty weak - some hops and malts, and initially some yeast. The taste is pleasant. Although advertised as extra strong, the taste is pretty mild, slightly sweet and just a pinch of caramel. The finish is neutral, prehaps only slightly bittery. Drinkable and tasty.

On tap at Medvedgrad, Zagreb. Pours hazy dark amber with lasting white head. Medium body, caramelish flavor. Best Medvedgrad beer in my opinion. Bottled version is not as good.

Auch wenn dieses Bier im Vergleich mit vielen anderen Medvegrad-Biere eher langweilig rüberkommt, finde ich es nicht schlecht. Ein bisschen mehr Aromen - besonders nach Frucht - wären schön.

On tap at Pivnica Mali Medo, Zagreb. Slightly hazy ruby with a dense and lasting off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, dried fruits and spices with some hoppy notes and a hint of alcohol. Very well balanced. Sweet and quite flavourful with a pleasant bitterness. Nice one! (2013-05-17)
