A series in which one hop is used for flavoring and you can enjoy its individuality. The fifth is Tango, a new German hop.
A new hop announced by the Hüll Hop Institute in Hüll, Germany, with a yield of only 1 ton this year. It is a rare hop among genuine rares. BET's Sebastian, a partner who always takes care of such rare hops, provided us.
The scent when I opened the tightly packed bag was similar to the American hop Citra, and I was looking forward to the finish. The official guide states that "Noble aroma that is not inferior to traditional varieties when used in boiling, and passion fruit was especially felt when used in Whirlpool and the latter half of boiling", and on the radar chart. The aroma profile shown was followed by "hops, resin, sweet fruit, followed by berries and green fruit."
The malt composition this time is the same as Hop Filament --HBC630-. A little Munic Malt enhances the sweet aroma, and sugar is not to sweeten the taste, but to induce a slightly dry finish and to bring out the yeast-derived aroma that is the basis of the taste. And I added a little bitterness than before.
Well, it's finished, but first of all, it's a dunk (if you're interested, check it out with Dank Hop Flavor etc.), and it has a complex nuance that combines hop-like grassiness and resininess with passion fruit and grapefruit scent. On the top, sweet hop-like flavor, followed by a faint berry-like flavor and green apple-like aroma were also felt.
It seems that there will be more opportunities to see it in the market from next year onward, and I feel that it is a hop that I look forward to in the future. If you have any beer used, please check it out. Kuniburu, but I would like to try an interesting combination with other hops!

Copper orange with a tall white head. Sweet caramel biscuity malt, earthy hops, grass, resin. Medium to full body. Finish is long and with medium bitterness. A nice beer built definitely lacking some depth and/or complexity. Not sure this is a hop that can stand on its own.
