Keg at the brewery. The aroma is Christmas: dried fruit, spices, cake. Dark hazy/murky brown. Thin creamy beige head soon recedes. The aroma matches the flavour - Rich if not overly sweet dried fruit and a touch of spice. A bitter streak the appears. Medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Lovely rich stuff with a bitterness that takes the edge off.
