The Belgian equivalent of the Ommegang Pale Sour Ale, which has been made since 2017 in collaboration with the Ommegang Brewery (also part of Duvel-Moortgat). Not available in bottle, only once in a while from barrel.

Tap @ the De Koninck brewery bar. Clear pale golden body under a light white head. Mild funky aroma with a hint of yoghurt. Taste is light, mild and refreshing, smooth malt, acidic lemon and no yoghurt in taste.

On tap at De Koninck. Yoghurt hint in the aroma, but the flavor is on the fruity side. Tropical, citrusy. Refreshing and quite tasteful. Not much Liefmans influence found. 747413 251107

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7.5 | Flavor - 8.5 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 8.5

Draught Small white rim over fully unclear yellow beer. Yeasty, nose of lemon and seafruit (DMS?), salty-mineral. Sweet green grapes, incense, wood, lactic acid, lime. Bit rootspices in the finish, drier. Light, slick, but nowhere empty. Soft carbonation. Very good beer. WTF isn't this more readily available?
