Our traditional Mead is a testament to the purity and richness of the Rocky Mountains. This standard Mead, boasting an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 11.5%, is a harmonious blend of simplicity and sophistication. It is characterized by its low residual sugar content, making it a perfect choice for those who prefer a less sweet, more balanced flavor profile.
The magic of our Mead lies in the ingredients we use. The heart of this beverage is our Rocky Mountain wildflower honey, a unique ingredient that imparts a distinct, natural flavor that is impossible to replicate. This honey, sourced from the wildflowers that bloom in the Rocky Mountains, carries the essence of the region, adding depth and complexity to our Mead.
The water we use is just as special. Sourced from the pristine Diorite valley located above our ranch, this water is untouched and pure, contributing to the clean, refreshing taste of our Mead.
The final touch in crafting this amazing beverage is the yeast. This crucial ingredient aids in the fermentation process, transforming our wildflower honey and pristine water into the delightful Mead that we are proud to call our standard.
In every sip of our traditional Mead, you will taste the natural flavor of the Rocky Mountains. It's not just a beverage, it's an experience, a journey through the wild, untamed beauty of the Rockies. Enjoy the taste of tradition, crafted with care and passion.

Ok this smells like paint. That's some ester action right there. On the palate, not great. The paint isn't as powerful on the aroma. Finishes dry, but without any flavour development at all.

200mL bottle, pours a clear blonde. Aroma has soft floral honey and gentle seltzery notes. Flavour has mostly fermented out honey, gentle floral notes, and soft seltzery notes. Never been a fan of drier meads, and this doesnβt change my mind, but itβs not bad.

Poured from 200mL bottle (lot 12; purchased July 2025 from Pommier Ranch). Clear pale blonde with no head. Soft floral honey, fairly watery, clean, super basic.

750ml bottle found in Cranbrook, 11.5% abv on the label, decanted. Hazy pale straw body. Very musty aroma, wood funk notes, strong goat cheese, sharp meringue and marzipan as it relaxes. Taste is warming honey, sweet bread, lingering sugar with soft zinfandel hints. Ends dry. Excellent.
