Cloudy yellow color with ehhhh almost no head. Hmmm and this is a weissbier. Also a quite moderate intensity in the aroma. Some wheat and yeast. Moderate sweetness. A bit low carbonation level. Surely the reason why there is no head. Wheat, fruity and quite mild banana in the flavor.Nahhh not to good this one. But drinkable.

Gulbrun klar med lavt hvitt skum. Lukter gjær, hvete og lett sitrus. Lett. Søtlig smak, honning, hvete og gjær. Kort

Bottle. An unclear, orange-colored beer with a minimal sized off-white head. Close to no carbonation. Banana, orange, some yeast and cloves in the aroma. It's very low on carbonation, not only for a weizen, but almost no matter what kind of beer it is. It feels sort of dead on the tongue, with a medium body fullness and a decent malty sweetness. Pale malts, wheat, orange, some banana and cloves in the flavor. Even a light bitterness. Long fruity finish. A fine hefeweizen indeed, except it needs carbonation to show off some of the aroma, and to make it more pleasant on the palate. I'm not a fan of heavily carbonated weissbiers, but this is too far from what it should be like. 171201

Bottle from Gulating Brennåsen. Unintended misspelling on the label? (weizzbier?) Unclear orange yellow body with a big white head. Aroma is not very strong, but quite classic German Weizbier. Wheat, hint of banana, yeast and flowers, nit very spicy. Flavor is OK decent, but not very exiting. Medium body and average aftertaste. OK drinkable, but there are a lot better alternatives easily accessible out there.
