Julie Red Currant is a single barrel release sour golden ale fermented with our Garden party wild culture. After three years in a champagne barrel, we added red currants from our neighbor's garden and waited another year before bottling.

The result is a hazy orange beer with a small white head. Aroma is bright acidity, dominated by apricot and peach with notes of orange blossom honey. Effervescent and crisp mouthfeel with flavors of rhubarb, tomato stems, bread dough and some walnut skin like bitterness and a lingering tart, fruity aftertaste.
