Another of our sour beer family is light, rich top-fermented beer which has been acidified with the blend of three different lactobacillus bacteria and hopped with aromatic, citrus hops from the United States. Mix of sour, sweet and bitter taste with some tropical fruit notes, fresh oranges and green grapefruits in taste. Aroma of citrus (lemon, grapefruit, lime) and some milk acid notes. Expect unexpected!

Ingredients: water; barley and wheat malts Weyermann®: pale ale, vienna, diastatic, wheat (light); hops (USA): Citra®, Mosaic™, Warrior®, Cascade, hop extract from Columbus (USA); blend of l. plantarum, l. brevis, l. delbrueckii bacteria; yeast: Fermentis Safale US-05.

Hazy blond with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a real sharpness. Fruity. Wheaty. Light.

On tap at Jabeerwocky, pours a cloudy peachy dull orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out complex wild yeast, along with wild yeast, and fresh citrus and stone fruits. Flavour follows suit bursts with fresh stone fruits, oranges and lacto, with a nice floral and citrus hop character. Complex and bright. Not as good as the BA version, but it's excellent.

Bottle. Malty aroma, passion fruit, lime, sour notes. Total hazy golden tonorange color, no head. Malty taste, yeasty notes, passion fruit, mango, lime, medium sour, light sweet notes, light bitter. Medium to full body, oily texture, malty sour finish with bitter notes. Very good.

Bottle from 100 piv. Less unexpected than I expected. Refuses to form a head, but that is okay in a lacto beer. Carbonation seems to be moderate. Medium-low bitterness on par with medium-light soft lactic sourness. Moderate exotic maracuja and citrusy hops character, pretty juicy, but could be stronger. Overall the flavours are much more mellow than I expected from an 18°P beer. That increases the drinkability though. Good one.

0,5l bottle athome shared with a friend. BB 15.08.2018. orange cloudy color, small white head. smells musty, citric, earthy, bit pukeish, grass. ok smell. full body, medium pearly carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes citric, grassy, peppery, spices, earthy, lactic, some exotic fruits, bit leathery. finishes dry and lightly sour with notes of citrus, spices and leathery notes. drinkable but rather weird balance, gets a bit better once it warms up, overall rather decent but not a favorite.

Barwa ciemnozłota zamglone. Piana wysoka ładnie zdobi szklankę. W aromacie pierwsze skrzypce grają nuty cytrusowe, później do głosu dochodzi kwas. W smaku super zbalansowana gorycz z kwaśnością. Całość dopełnia lekka owocowość oraz odpowiednia gęstość. Alkohol absolutnie niewyczuwalny.

Butelka.
