Another of our sour beer family is light, rich top-fermented beer which has been acidified with the blend of three different lactobacillus bacteria and hopped with aromatic, citrus hops from the United States. Mix of sour, sweet and bitter taste with some tropical fruit notes, fresh oranges and green grapefruits in taste. Aroma of citrus (lemon, grapefruit, lime) and some milk acid notes. Expect unexpected!
Ingredients: water; barley and wheat malts Weyermann®: pale ale, vienna, diastatic, wheat (light); hops (USA): Citra®, Mosaic™, Warrior®, Cascade, hop extract from Columbus (USA); blend of l. plantarum, l. brevis, l. delbrueckii bacteria; yeast: Fermentis Safale US-05.

Lekka slodycz owocowa na samym poczatku, potem robi sie kwasno a na zakonczenie ziolowo i chmielnie. Zdecydowane piwo w smaku jak na niski woltaz i brak doswiadczenia u nas w tym stylu to udane piwo. Bardzo fajne. Szkoda tylko ze piana nie jest trwalsza, ale taki to urok tego stylu

On tap. Hazy orange. Aroma: sour, malt, sour plum, a little vinegar. Taste: fruit and sour, but tasty, very fruity, refreshing.

Bottle. Murky yellow, low offwhite head. Spicy, very fruity nose. Maracuja juice, some citric and grape like hops. Light tart juice finish. Chewy, medium light body.

Hazy golden with little white head. Aroma is lots of tropic fruit, lychee, grass. Taste is very much honey sweetness, some fruity sourness. Nice and pleasant. Somehow quite heavy, medium body. Good.

Bottle. Murky orange color with small white head. Aroma is yuzu juice, peach juice, some juicy hops, very strange. Taste is yuzu juice, peach juice, juice. A bit of a tart finish, but just a bit. Low carbonation. Weird stuff, but nice - I guess it?s an art to let a 6% beer taste exactly like juice. I did not overuse the word "juice" in this rating.

Piwo o barwie bursztyno-brunatnej, mętne. Piana słabiutka, szybko znika niemalże do zera. W aromacie cytrusy, kiszona kapusta, brzoskwinia. W smaku najpierw rzuca się nuta żywiczna, zaraz później jest kwaśne, a po kilku sekundach zmienia się w cytrusy szczególnie w pomarańcz i grejpfrut. Świetne piwo.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ben’s place. Thanks Ben. Cloudy golden. Aroma of sauerkraut, yogurt, some hops. Sour and slightly sweetish flavor, with yogurt, fruity hops, sauerkraut, honey. Medium-bodied. Nice and refreshing.

50cl bottle, at home. Murky orange with a thin off-white head. Aroma notes of lemon zest, citrus hops, dank cellar, honey. Sour and bitter grapefruit up front, followed by smooth honey, sour grapes, herbal hops, pine syrup and passion fruit. Medium body, low carbonation and a light sour, bitter and sweet aftertaste.

Draught @ Viva la PINTA, Kraków. Pours cloudy orange amber with small off-white head. Clear, vinous aroma with estery and fruity notes and touches of malt. Bitter, hoppy flavour with vinous and fruity nites and touches of yeast and malt. Lingering vinous aftertaste with estery hints. Good.

Butelka 0,5 z datą ważności 01.12.2016, temperatura degustacji 12-14 stopni +, szkło teku. Aromat: zaraz po otwarciu cytrusowe uderzenie, generalnie aromaty chmielowe są dobrze wyczuwalne na początku citra pod koniec jak już piwa zostało na dnie i się ogrzało czuć mosaic, i wyraźne kwaśne nuty ponadto wyczuwalne owoce tropikalne, limonka. Barwa: mętne złoto. Piana: biała, niska pomimo nalewania z wymuszeniem, drobno i średnio pęcherzykowa, opadając delikatnie zdobi szkło. Smak: rewelacja smakuje jakby wrzucili owoce tropikalne i cytrusy z przewagą tych kwaśnych wszystko zblendowali, smakuje jak nektar z przyjemną dobrze zaznaczoną grejpfrutową goryczką, coś niespotykanego, balans pomiędzy słodkością a kwaśnością genialny . Piwo jest średnio pełne, gęste a zarazem śliskie, pijalne, wysycenie średnie do niskiego. Bardzo ciekawa, odwawna i innowacyjna receptura z której powstał niezwykle smaczny trunek, póki co mój numer 1 w tym roku, żona też zachwycona ;) do końca roku jeszcze dużo miejmy nadzieję dobrych piw do zdegustowania, to na pewno zapamiętam i chętne powtórzę.
