Can pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris (2020) and can 2023. Appearance is cloudy light-brown/orange (depending on the light) with nice sparkle, finger-width foamy white head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong herbal (a bit of musk as well as cooking herbs) along with earthy twigs/dried leaves over citrusy backbone (2020), all citrus 2023. Taste is moderately strong citrus forward, nicely balanced with yeast, melon and herb (pretty similar both years. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average-to-lively carbonation, dry finish as taste--mostly yeasty. Overall, different experiences 3 years apart--some intriguing complexity 2020, especially given all Citra! More what you'd expect 2023. A bit surprised the brewer didn't think of this as a NEIPA but whatever.

16 oz. can purchased at the brewery. Aroma is citrus, musky yeast, slight mossy grass. Flavor shows elevated citrus, moss or earthy grass. Some American ale yeast. Nice texture with a soft mouth feel. Slightly juicy with no bitterness. Real easy to drink!
