Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 23/03/24. Murky deep marmalade orange with a good sized lasting white head. Nose is bitter orange, citric tinged straw, melon, grass, mandarin. Taste comprises bitter orange, grass, pine needle, raw pineapple, grapefruit, grass, ripe melon. Medium bodied, limited carbonation, drying close spiked with balanced light juice laden hop bitterness. Tidy enough IPA.

Can from the Advent box Lightly hazy light gold with a decent sized frothy white head that persists. Rich bready maltiness with plenty of citrus and tropical notes. Really tasty!

Pours hazy light gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving sheet lacing. Sweet melon and lychee aromas. Soft with sweet lychee, melon and earthy meadow front to back. Lasting earthy melon rind finish.

Can (Cellars Bentleigh, a place I should add). Almost opaque orange with a white head. Delicate aroma of lemon, grapefruit, orange blossoms, spices, with some light bread behind. Taste is just a sunny burst of lovely citrus flavours that gradually fades into a dry but only modestly bitter finish. Maybe they don't say NEIPA because it's not chalky, astringent, raucous or burning? Very good.

Can from Tavour. Pours translucent gold with a large foamy white head. Mixed citrus aroma. Bready support. Med plus body - luscious - due to carbonation I suspect. Flavor is juicy, not burning citrus. Lightly roasty malt. This is not a WC IPA. It is not an NEIPA. Let's call it a MW IPA. (Mid West). Nice. Bitter enough. Smooth, easy drinker. Well, Easy is in the name.

$4.30 pint can, WW. Murky gold with a soft off-white head. Juice orange, grapefruit zest nose. Flavor is orange peel and juice, light grapefruit... juicy, not bitter at all. Very tasty.
