Bottled 330ml. -from Die Bierothek Bamberg. Almost black coloured, small to medium sized brownish head, milk chocolate in the nose. Light roasted malt, coffee, milk chocolate, touch of honey and rather sweet finish. So-so.

Dark brown colour with quick fading fizzy head. Poor mouthfeel due to excessive carbonation. Aroma and flavour have a lot of grassy notes. Also some bittersweet roasted malts and a little hazelnut. The base background flavours are good but the execution seems poor.

Bottled, from Biershop Bayern. Near black, mid sized head. Honey and coffee up front. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Mild and gentle with honey and coffee. Low bitterness.

Brown color with big tan big-bubbled head, good lacing. Aroma is lacto, milk chocolate. Taste is herbal, milk chocolate, full-bodied, still feels light and fresh. Good.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Mikes Wanderlust Mild Porter ].Clear dark brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, light ash - burnt. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, light ash - burnt. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20160112]

Almost black with little brown head. Smells like old humid coffee and some roast aroma and cocoa. Taste is bittersweet with a long bitter and smooth finish. I dont like these very bitter dark beers too much, maybe I take something brighter next time.

Opaque deep brown colour, large frothy tan head, diminishes slowly, light lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, cocoa, brown sugar, liquorice notes. Taste is medium sweet and bitter, chocolate, roasty, spicy notes, retronasal coffee flavor. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, aftertaste is sweetbitter, chocolate, spicy notes; fresh and smooth porter, nice.

(bottle, 33cl) Dark brown coloured hue with a big but collapsing beige foamy head. Mildly roasted grainy malty aroma with notes of chocolate, vanilla, coffee and a very subtle fruity touch. Moderately sweet and discreetly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a modest carbonation. Dark malt character with roasted grains, dark and milk chocolate at the same time, vanilla, shy hints of coffee; balanced roasty bitter and sweet malty finish with a cautious touch of acidity, subtle fruitiness. Handpump @La Tana (Rome). Pours deep brown/cocacola with a minimal head. Aroma of roasted malts, mild coffee, chocolate, grass. Flavour is medium sweet with a delicate bitter end, coffee in the aftertaste. Light body, light carbonation. Nice mild.
