Draft at the Rutland Arms, Sheffield. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, big dry tiramisu chocolate, light vanilla. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, roasty, light dry coffee, chocolate, light vanilla, light liqourice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with flat carbonation. Awesome aroma. Shame it didn’t follow through!

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from The Outpost in Bermondsey. Pours brown with a modest, creamy khaki head. Medium sweet flavour with nice frothy toffee and vanilla, faint berries, chocolate, toasted marshmallows. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate sweetness, subtle roast and earth, further chocolate, vanilla pudding, mousse. Enjoyable.
