On a tiny tropical island near Africa, a dog named Casper runs a Belgian-type bar where you can feast on Belgian ice cream, waffles, cocktails, and, of course, the beer. If such a distant place can keep a Belgian spirit, then we here in Estonia, can brew a Belgian beer.
Casper is Belgian dark strong ale that gets its fruity aroma from the Belgian yeast and the sweet taste from the Abbey malt.

BBD 2017 Smell-weak malt, some roast. Foam-thin, malt, weak Belgian notes, weak caramel, weak roast, some odd sweetness to it in back. Head is small, light brown-white color. Appearance - brewer bottle cap, label with a dog on it. From- snifter Taste - malty, some faint caramel, faint roast, faint Belgian notes. Some weird sweetness somewhere in the back accompanied by the malt. Not much to talk about here, alcohol is well hidden, but apart from that, nothing special.

F: thin, tan, not long lasting. C: dark coppery, bit hazy. A: malty, red fruits, caramel, banana, toffee, bit yeasty. T: red fruits, malty, caramel, bit vinous, bit yeasty, berries, very simple BSA yet some way enjoyable, medium/full body, lower carbonation, 33cl bottle from Tallinna Kaubamaja Toidumaailm in Tallin, Estonia.

Bottle at Silja Europa. Dark ruby color, small steady off-white head. Aroma has toffee and light grassy notes, banana. Medium-bodied. Flavour has toffee, yeast, banana, cocoa powder. A bit messy. Yeast problem?

[ As Lehe Casper ].Clear medium to dark amber - red brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, caramelized malt - sugar, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, dried fruit, candy yeast. Bottled@Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Reddish amber colour with a small white head. ARoma is raisins, some resin, mild yeast as well as some sweet malts. Flavour is alcohol, some raisins, ripe fruits and slight spiciness. Nice chocolate to it in the finish as well.
