Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Colin. A thick dark black brown coloured pour with a lasting dark tan creamy head. Aroma is nice toasted cinnamon bun, hot alcohol, black sugars, some spices, woody notes, jamaica cake. Palate is semi sweet, light tang, oily, moderate carbonation. Bottle at home, from HOTM online, 14/01/22. Happy to report a regular pour and not the gushing affair I experienced in the previous bottle from this brewer. Pitch black with a good sized lasting dark tan head. Nose is coffee bean, spice, dark malts, molasses, cocoa powder, ashen tones. Taste comprises vanilla, tonka bean, cocoa powder, spice, bitter roast, dried fruit rinds. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a good kick of booze. Ok full on impy stout with a moderate coffee bite ... a little harsh and boosty in places and lacking depth overall but an Ok sipper ... one to share ... think I'd struggle taking down the full 500! For the price point I doubt I'll revisit this brewer.

Pours black, smell is very cinnamon forward. Some chocolate. Taste is pretty wattery (MF, I mean ) more cinnamon than i'd like.

Draught @ Billie's Craft Beer Festival 2021. Sweetish, syrupy and roasty with some coffee, vanilla and maple syrup notes. Okay.

Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2021. A black beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of coffee, maple syrup, sweet dark malt. Taste of sweet strong dark caramelized malt, coffee, vanilla, maple syrup. Nice.
