Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is roasted malt with coffee, vanilla, espresso, dark chocolate, some alcohol. Flavour is sweet with a fairly bitter finish. Medium to full body. Sweet with lots of coffee, roast, also vanilla. Good. Could be a bit more smooth.

Last can at Drinkoteka. Black body, with a creamy small off-white head. Sweet coffee aroma, light chocolate, some vanilla. Sweetish, smooth taste, coffee touches, chocolate, orange, liqueurish, some ginger-like notes, light alcohol burn. Actually pretty nice! Love that I've scored it so randomly.

Pours dark reddish brown with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, coffee, chocolate and pastry. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long caramel, roasted, coffee and brown sugar finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Can at home. The colour is dark brown to black colour with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate truffles, tobacco, coffee, bourbon and licorice. Flavour of roasted malt, coffee, prunes, nougat, dark chocolate and licorice. Has a slick and silky mouth feel, full-bodied and a soft bitterness. Well balanced and, surprisingly, relatively easy drinking.
