nuttiness coming through, then using
this as a canvas for the addition of
pungent American hops. These bring
citrus, pine and a light tropical character to the fore, complementing the malt bill perfectly and creating a harmoniously balanced beer.

Tap at Billie’s. Surprisingly light brown pour with a beige head. Nose is heavily hoppy, fruity and citric, for a second I tought I was poured the wrong beer. The taste is somewhat malty tho but still heavily hoppy and too bitter. Not a fan of hoppy beers that shouldnt be hoppy.

Can at home, from Thornbridge online, 24/05/22. Clear chestnut brown to amber with a good sized lasting light beige crown formed of frothy bubbles that stays for the show ... great looker. Nose is dark malts, nutty, brown bread, straw, grains, toffee, dried fruit tickle. Taste comprises toffee, candied fruit peel, brown sugar dusting, fruit slice, light cocoa sprinkle, caramel malts. Medium bodied, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close spiked with modest hop bitterness. Decent brown ... top drawer look and feel to this one.
