Dans notre beau Pays du Pévèle, il y a 2 choses sacrées : le houblon et la paix. Avec le premier, nous avons créé PVL. Pour la seconde, nous avons imaginé la bière brune, pour qu’ici jamais, la guerre des goûts ne s’installe. En même temps, avec ses malts torréfiés et sa mousse crémeuse, elle désarmerait plus d’une blonde. EBC 56.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Almost black beer with lasting tan head. Chocolate and blackcurrant minty liquer aroma. More chocolate in the mouth. I thought it was ok. A bit of paper. Some cola, some liquorice. Mostly chocolate. Fine.
