Draft @ Dogs Grandad taproom.
Couleur brune foncée, léger voile, col blanc-cassé crémeux.
Arôme au bouquet léger, malté grillé, chocolaté, caramel, houblonné moyen oscillant sur des notes de résineux, sève, sciure.
Palais est malté, sur le grillé, assez sec tranchant en bouche, petite note cendrée. Houblonné plutôt classique apportant un cararactère herbacé, finement épicé, boisé sous-bois sciure avec une pointe subtile de résineux en fin de bouche.
Garde tt de même ce petit qcq chose au niveau du malt qui me plaît moins.

On tap at Craft Beer Oasis, Crewe. Pours almost black with a small off-white head. Some traces of general fruitiness in the nose. Roast malts to the fore in the mouth, plus dark fruits, hops and hints of pine and chocolate. Quite sweet overall, and a bit watery. Not bad, but no world-beater.

On tap at Dogs Grandad Brewery and Taproom, half-pint shared with Finn. Creamy beige head to a plain black body, fair lacing. Roasted dark malty aromas, bread and liqorice. Blend of grainy chocolate malts to the flavour character, together with moments of pine needless. Decent roasted bitterness to the ending. Medium bodied. Pretty good, easy to drink. Delt med Rune på bryggeripuben. Ultramørkebrun/svart. Lavt kremaktig skum med litt farge. Litt lacing. Aroma av sjokolade & karamell. Smaken tørket frukt & sjokolade. Tørr - passe bitter avslutning.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingman, 10/07/21. Light black with a decent khaki covering. Nose is pine needle, dried red berry fruits, light cola cubes, dusty hops, earthy roast. Taste comprises ashen tones, charr, roasted bite, pine dusting, dried red berry fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness. Decent well rounded CDA.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Wingman. A nut brown coloured pour with a loose light tan head. Aroma is nutty brown bread, sticky pine, earthy roast, bark. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty brown bread, sticky jammy pine, earthy roast, bark. Palate is semi sweet, oily, moderate carbonation.

Can bought at Three Hounds, Beckenham. Aroma of dark malts with a flowery edge. Cloudy darkest brown. Creamy light beige head. Light bitter. Underlying sweetness. Sour edge. Combines citrus, herbs and chocolate. Light-medium bodied. Creamy, with chalky follow up. Long slightly astringent finish. Enjoyable low key BIPA. But what's up with the chalk?
