Classic blonde ale base with a West Coast spin. Smooth, biscuity and bitter with expressive hop notes of citrus and pine.
Just over a mile south of the brewery lies 'Calleva Atrebatum', the ruins of an entire walled Roman town complete with a surviving Amphitheatre.

One-third pint, cask, shared with Finn at The Weather Station. Airy white head that laced fine, next-to-clear golden body. Wheat fruity aromas. Taste of doughy citrus and added by a note of biscuit. Ripe fruity ending. Soft on the swallow. Easy going. (Reading 19.11.2021).

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A hazy straw coloured pour with a loose white head; bready citrus aroma; lemony taste with a grainy body; than a strangely sour finish that wakens the tastebuds. Interesting.
