A welcome return of this perfect style for the season. Our American Brown Ale is rich with aromatic malts and generous with Mosaic and Simcoe hops, giving the beer plenty of fruity, dank and berry notes. The introduction of Cedar wood offers gentle white pepper and unique grapefruit character before a finish of piney tannins.

Creamy off white head on a still dark brown body. Liquorice, treacle & malt aroma. Medium bodied, smooth, creamy & soft in the mouth. Malts, roasted, nutty & burnt tastes with a lightly hopped citrus finish. That's good.

Can from the brewery online shop. Pours hazy brown with a thick beige head. Aromas of light caramel, pine, resin, burnt orange peel. Taste is woody, caramel, toffee, citrus, faint tropicalia. Long finish. There's something a little soapy at the back.

440ml can at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a murky medium brown colour with a short-lived, frothy off-white head. The aroma is grainy malt; liqourice and nuts. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, with a crisp, liqourice, roasty, nutty, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. A typical Siren Brown Ale.

Clear, dark red-brown ale with a thick light tan head. Flavour has malt, and a little grassiness. Flavour has toasty malt, grapefruit, hop, a bit of zest, a touch of musty berries, almost a wine quality in the back end. Gets more interesting as you go and has a good, rich smoothness to it

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 29/01/22. Deep chestnut brown with a good sized beige cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is dried berry fruits, dusty hops, light pine, wooded notes, biscuit, caramel. Taste comprises cocoa sprinkle, baking powder, dark malts, brown sugars, toffee, dried red berries. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced dusty hop bitterness. Solid for the style.

Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded, toasted malts, cohoclate orange, cedar, spicy wood, bark, sticky pinesap. Palate is semi sweet, highish carbonation, quite interesting,.

Half-pint, cask, shared with Finn at Nags's Head. A beige, covering head leaving scattered lacing on the glass. Jet black body. Rather dry on the nose with hints of coffee and soft chocolate. Blended taste of coffee, earthy malts and ripe fruits. Ends with a cafe latte twist. Pretty decent. (Reading 19.11.2021).
