1/3 pint, draught, at Goose Island Brewpub, shared with Finn. Jet black body, covering beige head, clingy lacing. Mid-sweet chocolate malts on the nose, lightly roasted. Flavoured with vanilla chocolate and a vibe of espresso coffee. Rounded roasted ending. Medium bodied. Nice porter version. (London 15.11.2021).

Delt med Rune. Svart. Høyt tett skum med litt farge. Daler sakte & etterlater tykk teppelacing. God aroma av røstet malt & sjokolade. Smaken melkesjokolade.

Keg at Goose Island Brew Pub, Shoreditch, 15/11/19. Black with a decent tan cap that retains well. Nose is light roast, ashen tones, charr, chocolate biscuit, dusty fruits. Taste comprises biscuit, cocoa powder, dried fruits, mellow roast, light charr. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light dryness in the close. Not bad.

Keg at the brewpub. Coffee and liqourice aroma. Dark. Thin creamy beige head. Light bitter with a sour fruity edge. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Decent porter.

Keg at the London brewpub Shoreditch. A dark brown black coloured pour with a creamy beige head. Aroma is rustic brown malts, mellow roast, roasted barley, low apple. Flavour is composed of creamy dark chocolate, hint of smoke, roasted barley.. Palate is medium bodied, creamy, moderate carbonation. Light chalk. Really good.

Keg at Goose Island. It pours dark ruby to black with a medium light tan head. The aroma is toasty, roasted malt, coffee grounds, wood, coffee, chocolate cake. The taste is dry, bitter, hard roasted malt, charry, cocoa, chocolate cake, toasty spice, peppery, light tannin and burnt wood with a dry, roasted finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. We rounded. Nice.
