Draught at EBF, 2/5/16.
Hazy, very light blonde body is well-carbonated creating a small, white head head showing moderate to moderately-low retention.
Nectarine skins, lots of tart brett mixing with lactic acid and a dry, poignant oakiness that rounds things out. No alcohol noted nor flaw.
Very light, heavily attenuated, with bits and pieces of fruits, but certainly more of a sour, oaky beer than a fruity one. Lots of oakiness, but it’s dry and there’s no heavy toasted element to it. Carbonation is high and quite tight making it very light, crisp and drinkable, while plentiful lactic acids provide foil to the more tart, acidic brett ones. Perhaps just a bit too dry/thin overall, with some of the tannin building up a bit more than I’d like, on the finish, but otherwise, this is a highly drinkable, very competent little session sour.

On tap at the brewery (as House Wild). Orange color with small white head. Aroma is red overripe apples, like a late Most. Typical for French Oak. Taste is very apple-like, full-bodied. The other fruits get a bit lost. Carbonation is medium-crispy. The overripeness is taken a little bit too far, but I love it!
