Pours dark, clear amberbrown. Small white head fades instantly. Smell is surprisingly subtile. Caramel, tad chocolaty, rather sweet for sure. Taste is mildly bitter, pairing well with the otherwise overly intense sweetness. Creating that fine balance. Caramelly, chocolaty, more or less 50 50 between both. Médium body and medium to medium high Carbo. Clean fermentation profile. Very easy drinking beer. Lovely!

“Jacobator“, Flasche (50 cl) von Mein-Biershop.de. - Kastanienrotbraun, klar.

Many thanks to kappldav123 for this bottle! Nice smooth dark beginning. Easy to drink with a nice malty back. Round and smooth, roasted and dry, nice roasted malts with a nice dry bitterness. Full-bodied, great deep with a soft dry caramelly burned texture. Fantastic stuff!

Bottle with expiry date Nov 2018. Dark brown colour, cloudy, frothy head. Aroma is lots of banana, fresh white bread, far too much alcohol, a bit spicy. It's boozy like some Belgian beers. Full body. Average.

Pours brown from the bottle. Off white frothy crown that fades to nothing. Aroma is toffee, light milk chocolate. Taste is sweet, full of chocolate, caramel. Dry at the finish. Lightly warming, no trace otherwise of the ABV. Body is medium, carbonation is mild, a bit sticky. Overall a decent bock.
