What the hell is a Cold IPA? Well, it’s a fun term that Kevin from Wayfinder in Portland coined for making his lager yeast fermented IPAs, that are mashed with 30% rice to help lighten up the body and color. On the palate, this thing is very much like our clear and bitter California IPAs, and we really dig it! The color is very pale, with a firm bitterness, and a sticky resin quality that is all fresh douglas fir, and super hoppy aromatics of blueberry muffins and strawberries.

Can, huge thanks Ryan for sharing! Hazy yellow-golden body with a white head. Strawberry notes are obvious in the aroma, bit juicy and lightly malty. Lean taste, again soft strawberry, light green melon, herbal and malty touches, solid bitterish finish. Quite drinkable - not a wow perhaps, but cool to try!
