750ml bottle as part of a delivery from the brewery. Dark brown, a little bit translucent and a small film of beige/khaki head. Alcohol-laden aroma with the maple standing out, with sweet vanilla notes. Sweet and incredibly boozy, more maple, molasses, fudge, espresso. Lightly hoppy finish bringing bitterness. Oily body with gentle carbonation.

Tap at the Craft Inn, Shirley. Poured a slightly murky dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is coffee, liqourice and chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a roasty malt, liqourice bitter, chocolate, dry coffee, floral alcohol palate palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.
