500ml bottle shared by me and Simay at Bratislava RB meeting. BB 25.10.2015. brown hazy color, small off-white head. smells smoked, spices, bacon, creamy, licorice, very light ash. nice smell. medium body, medium carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes smoke, rather sweet, plums, citric, some fruits, berries, spices. finishes with sweetness fruity notes and smoke. good stuff, rather sweet unfortunatly, but maybe was served too warm, overall good stuff, would drink again.

Bottle, thanks Werckmeister! Bit of a gusher. Almost opaque deep brown liquid with minimal, fast dissipating fizzy tan head. Aroma of smoke, bacon, bonfire, roasted malt, coffee, light licorice, toast, nuts and floral hops. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of smoke, fruity yeast esters, red berries and toast. Medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. Bit overcarbed. Thoroughly enjoyable, balanced smokiness with a nice base.

Draught at the brewpub.
Black body, with a big creamy, lacing, beige head.
Aroma with lots of bacon, roast, toast, dark fruits.
Tastes of bacon, bitter chocolate, toast, dark bread, dark fruits, some caramel, some coffee and cocoa beans, subtle hops.
Medium, cream mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes quite dry, smokey, roasty, toasty, with bitter chocolate and some dark fruits.

Very nice. Pretty straight, but really quaffable and quite easy for the style. The smoke part is more dominant, but there are also enjoyable dark roasty notes. Maybe a bit too much carbonated.
