Malted barley, oats. Sitting somewhere between Northern English and American brown ales in style. Medium-bodied. Toasted nuts and dark caramel balanced by hop bitterness and gentle hop aromas

On keg at the Bow Bar. At 6.2%. Appearance - dark brown to black and cloudy. Nose - light nuts and toffee. A bit cold for the style. Praline comes through strongly at the end. Taste - loads of praline again. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet sweet texture and a long rich sweet finish. Overall - good brown ale ok.

0.33 bottle from the brewery, enjoyed at home. There's no question about it, it's a brown one and on top it has a small almost islandy and sorta sidesticking beige head. Nose-vise it's really nutty and sweetish. Lots of chocolate and dark malts. It smells totally unique and not what I directly identify with a brown ale, but as always it's really really pleasant. It has a nice smooth chocolate-drink thing going on in the taste. It's surprisingly soft on the carbonation and mild oily in the mouth. So calming, yet lovely flavorful. Chocolate, snickers and coffee mainly. Tones of vanilla and cardboard also. Walnuts in the aftertaste. It's a superb lightdrinkable one and oh, so tasty and oh, so quickly gone. 18.12.2015

Bottle, at the brewery. Dark brown with tan head. Roasted malts, bread, chocolate, medium bodied. Sweet with bitter finish. Rather simple, but certainly a good brew for what it is.

Flaska från Ales by mail. Smak och doft av choklad, björnbär, vanilj, karamell, smör, rostad malt, knäck, nötter, kastanj och kaffe. Välbalanserad, torr, lagom sötma och fin beska. Mycket fint hantverk!

Dark brown color with big beige head. Aroma is quite fruity, toffee, roasted malts, opens up with some plums and raisins later. Taste is sweetish-fruity (plums, raisins) at first, then some burnt sugar, dark malts, finishes rather sweet, slightly sweet-fruity-caramely aftertaste. Creamy mouthfeel, full-bodied. Good stuff, with a great balance.

Flaska från Ales by mail. En fin brown ale med snygga rostade smaker. Kaffe, nötter, rostade kastanjer, knäck. Ganska torr men ändå mjuk och rund. Bra balans. Riktigt gott.
