An english-style IPA with earthy, herbal hop notes, well-balanced by bready malt.
Why does the world need another IPA? Because this one ain't like them others. We use hops of a different color, earth and herbal, well-balanced by bready malt. The result? An English-style IPA that separates itself from the ubiquitous bunch.

not a bad ipa, but when I read the label, all I could think was, "really?, there is nothing unique about this at all, it tastes like every also-ran ipa I’ve ever had" but hey, im only the guy drinking it, not the guy brewing it, so what the hell do i know.

355ml. Golden in appearance with not much head. The nose has honey, cereal, ripe bananas and sultanas. The taste has more cereal and sultanas. The palate is very balanced and gets better the more you drink. Great beer.

Bottle @ Hotelroom, Denver. Pours golden with a good sized white head. Aroma of floral herbs, citruss and light caramel. Taste orangepeel, citruss, grapefruit, and some light caramel. Medium body, light carbonation, solid bitter finish. Good english style IPA.150311

Pours a nice golden yellow with very little head. Not nearly as bitter or as flavorful as some other IPAs I’ve tried. There’s a sweetness to the flavor that seems a bit odd, too. Some citrus flavors, some hops and grain. Back to the drawing board!

[3/9/11] Draught at Beer Temple in Amsterdam. Slightly hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of some piney hops and some biscuity malt notes. Flavor starts sweetish with a bit of chewy malt and a biscuity notes and continues bitter, hoppy and piney with light citric notes. Medium-bodied. OK.

Tap @ Beer Temple. Unclear golden colour, dense large white head. Aroma is light malted, lots of honey, flowery. Flavour is bitter, grapefruit, fairly biter. Sweet honey finish.

Purchased at In Fine Spirits in Chicago, IL; enjoyed on a Thursday night prior to a trip to NYC. Somewhat impressed by this one. Appearance is a clear golden/amber with a thin white head, like an English Ale. Aroma an interesting mixture of crisp malts and hops. Taste is equal parts crisp and bitter from the malt/hop balance, crisp but still smooth. There’s nothing really added, just a very good hybrid English ale/IPA.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and citrus. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of straw adn citrus, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Boring.

Interesting label, I thought it was from Magic Hat, eh. Dull hoppy aroma, but not clear like most. Looks like a slightly darker pale lager but appears somewhat viscous. Big strong green citrus rind flavors that permeate the palate. Strong volatile alky taste bud impact. Nasty nellie but on style. Perhaps a little more refined than many IPA I’ve tasted. Wew, strong rude IPA personality will please most IPA lovers. Weird that it doesn’t really have any of that pine tar smell or spruce flavors that are so common with fresher IPA, its more on the dull green grapefruit rind side of the taste buds. When I popped the lid on this ther was little CO2 and on the palate there was barely any sizzle, just a tad of CO2 bite. Viscous oily mouth coating double IPA bitter overiding linger. Perhaps this should be classified as imperial IPA, I have sure tasted weaker IIPAs.
