Tough Life is a story about the history of the Neretva vessel. The Neretva Valley was a swamp in its beginnings and boats were the main means of transport for years. At that time, women dragged a vessel from the shore and men steered the vessel. It was a tough life. Tought Life is a typical American Pale Ale with medium body, medium level of bitterness and a pronounced aroma of tropical fruit.

Bottle, 330 ml, shared with others. Cloudy golden with large white head. Some herbal notes, bit soapy, citrus, sweetish, dusty, some bitterness in finish.

Bottle, 0.33l. Cloudy golden pour, huge frothy white head, long lasting. Sticky lacing on the glass. Fruity citrus nose, light tart, yeasty, mild herbal notes in the background. Light body, medium to high carbonation, fizzy. Prickly mouthfeel, watery texture. Bittersweet taste with mild sour notes. Aroma of citruses, grains, yeast. Grassy and herbal notes, light spice. Short lasting finish, mild bitterness. Ok.

Pours golden, medium head. Aroma citrus (no lemon) with some herbal addition. Hoppy all over the way with good aftertaste. Nicely balanced. Bitterness medium. Medium body and carbonation. Ok one.

Bottle, shared with A.J., courtesy of Hrabren, thanks! Hazy golden body, thick white head. Quite a dank, herbal aroma, citric notes, tart. Herbal, citric, lemony (detergent-style slightly), lightly earthy, a bit tart, but generally soft. Okay overall, not the best pale ale on the market, but the brewery shows potential.

0.33 l bottle, a sample from the brewery. Thanks Vinko! Shared with pbf_pivica. Clear golden, small off-white head. Moderately hoppy aroma, citrusy, grapefruit, slightly grassy, malts underneath. Mild hoppy flavour, herbal, zesty, slightly grassy, some leaves but some bitterness here, too. Good malty background. Simple but not badly done. Good everyday pale ale. Nice simple hop profile. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, light dry finish.

Bottled 330ml. -from Pomalo Zagreb. Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, grassy earthy nose. Grassy, light grainy, discreet fruity and earthy with mild bitter finish.
