Superficial festival rating @ Rebel Beer Fest 2024. Slightly unclear deep amber body under a small tan head. Strong aroma of malt, dry fruit, caramel and warming alcohol. Taste is sweet, smooth caramel malt, lots of dry fruit, moderate bitterness and warming alcohol. Fine body with long lasting, sweet and nice aftertaste. Very nice.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Copper colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is floral, quite stinging sweet, some fruity, mild raisins and plum along with dates. Flavour is toffee, plum pudding, some dates, mild spiciness, a quite strong sweet pinch of alcohol with some mild vanilla and wood to it. A bit young maybe, but this has aging potential.

Yesterday. Sweet and flavourful. Light raisins and prunes. Good now but most likely a lot better if aged for 2-3 years.
