We selected some of the best blue grapes from Mikulov to create Cuvée 2019.The dark blue Merlot implants a velvety character combined with very modest tannins. Blended with the local grapes of Saint Laurent, Cuvée 2019 is a dark crimson treat with tones of plums, blackberries, sour cherries and a hint of oak.

Bottle 0.75l, more than four years aged. Cloudy, so pretty red colored. AROMA-funky, some leather, berries, grapes. FLAVOR- lightly sweet, moderately sour and tart, grapes, cherries, berries, funky. Fuller bodied.

0,1l glass from bottle at Wild Creatures during Wild Days. Deep red color, small white head. smells tannins, grapes, funky, bit leathery. Nice smell. full body, soapy carbonation. tastes red wine, berry notes, forest strawberries, earthy. finishes lightly dry and lightly with notes of red wine, grapes and berry notes. Lovely, so smooth, very wine forward, very good to drink

A velvety, jammy delight. A seriously delectable grape ale with significant Oud Bruin vibes from the oak. None of the acidity or sourness expected from a lambic but it is a bit tart in a soft way. Pic: under extreme pressure. I took the wire cage off and

Towering pale flamingo head, slowly pitting in over opaque deep-red beer. Rainwater, red fruit, redcurrant, vinous, Noorderkrieken. Vinous, but short flash of chlorine, then red grapes and red wine. Mild acidburn and -thinning: good carbonation, long lasting red fruit and grape flavours. Another gem, Jitka!

Bottle at a WC tasting at Zil verne. Grape combination Svatovavrinecke + Merlot. Weird cheesy and butyric aroma, also slightly in flavour. Med-thin body, med-light sweetness, medium sourness, light tartness. Also medium dark grape character. Good, might get better later, is pretty fresh apparently.
