330ml bottle. Minimally milky, orange, deep golden colour with small to average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Spicy, minimally grainy and bready, malty aroma, hints of white bread, grey bread, a touch of sour dough, grassy and herbal hoppy overtones with a touch of sorrel, chervil, savory, whiffs of nettle, thistle, a minimally woody touch as well. Taste is spicy, bready, pale malty, minimally tart-ish, slightly herbal hoppy, hints of white bread, grey bread, sour dough, a touch of sorrel, chervil, savory, thistle, subtle residual sweetness. Oily texture, smooth, soft and silky, minimally cloying palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Well composed, well crafted, quite fancy though somehow historic in character - very nice.
