[backlog] 04-04-16 / 750ml bottle at home. 2015 edition. Really good wheat beer. Amazing citrus hop notes along with yeasty spicyness. I started rating my beers with Untappd and a few basic notes. Now I want to rate them on ratebeer. So my rating sometimes lack some information. Just ignore it, it is for my personal statistics. Untappd-Rating 4.25/5

(bottle, 75cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized frothy head. Fruity and floral hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, lemon, peach, also present wheaty accents and hints of white bread and cloves. Mildly sweet and slightly sour flavour, medium to light bodied with a prickly carbonation. Yeast-spicy, wheaty taste with present fruity, mainly citric hoppy notes, also shy traces of banana underneath; moderately dry, delicately sweet and sour-fruity finish with a mild level of tartness. Enjoyable Wheat IPA. 02.XII.15

Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is phenolic fruit esthers, some citrus fruits, some spicy yeasts. Taste is fruity, hoppy, bitter, with a warming bitter finish and a silky mouthfeel. Comparable to Hopfenweisse, but not as intense.

Bottle. Fresh lemongrass and lime aroma. Cloudy orange amber. Medium body, key lime pie, a bit sticky, but fresh. Not a Weizenbok for me, but pleasant and fresh enough.

Fruchtig hefiger, bananig süßer Antrunk. Starke Karbonisierung, mittelstark herb. Im Hintergrund ist der Alkohol dumpf erkennbar, die Fruchtigkeit nimmt ab, das Bier wird so runder. Dezent bitterer Ausklang. 9/9/9/8/8/9

750ml bottle. Hazy, yellow-golden colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Wheaty and yeasty aroma converges with citric hop notes, the result is banana, mandarine, peach, but also a touch of urinal cake, artificial lemon, horse piss on straw. Taste is moderately sweet wheat malty, notes of banana, minimally tart, citrusy hoppy overtones, a touch of aniseed. Can’t reach its ideal ’Schneider Hopfenweisse’, but has a nice dirty, funky yeast touch severally.
