Hornbeers økologisk Pale Ale er tredje skud på stammen af vores Godt øl serie.
Da vi her på hornbeer er vilde med humle, har den fået lidt ekstra. Dog ikke mere end at man stadig kan smage maltprofilen. Alt i denne øl er selvfølgelig økologisk. Vi har brugt Wakatu og Cascade humle i denne øl. Wakatuen giver aroma af blomster og lime, mens Cascaden giver citrus og grape, vi syntes de spiller rigtig godt sammen.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, herbal and some mild grassy tones. Flavour is fruity, floral, grassy, herbal and mild earthy notes. Pleasantly balanced and nice bitterness in the finish.

ABV: 4.7%. Clear medium yellow colour with a large to huge, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, light to moderate yeasty, fruity yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, pale malt, fruity malt, yeast, earthy yeast, yeast - phenol, floral, soapy bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft - lively. [20211106]

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear, dark golden with a lacing, off-white head. Nose has subtle hops that seem a little tired. Medium body, a dry fruitiness, a little too fizzy and a short, bitter finish. An APA to the somewhat boring side. 101220
