Pours dark chocolaty brown, darker creamcolored head, fairly large, medium to medium low stability. Scent is creamy, chocolate dark malts, fairly typical BE dark strong ale, hint of earthy hops (hidden). yeast not overly expressive, but giving some phenols. Expectations are those of a quite sticky beer. Taste is full, high co2, caramel, chocolate, bit more bitter than anticipated. Exhausting sweetness + yeast combo . Sticky finish indeed. Easy drinker for the ABV, due to the fairly low intensity (relatively), the high co2 and the body that doesn't surpass medium. Bit too exhausting though, not bad at all, just not matching some of the BE classics
