⁣⁣This is a beer we've been trying to get right since day one at House of Funk. We've brewed and dumped three previous batches before we found what we were looking for. Inspired by one of our favourite beers, we've been attempting to achieve a balance of low ABV while maintaining our signature funk character.⁣⁣A tablebier, or small beer, Apotheosis was brewed with Skagit Valley Pale Malt and German Wheat Malt. Hopped with EKG and Saaz.⁣⁣⁣⁣Apotheosis was bottle conditioned with Brettanomyces and is ideal for cellaring.

Poured from the tap. Hazy pale blonde with small white head. Dry and rustic with some barnyard funk. Flavours are slightly subdued, but good for the ABV.

Cloudy pale yellow gold with a decent white head. Nice light funk and a touch of glue. Touch of funk and glue with a light finish. Decent and refreshing.

Bottle from The Gull, North Vancouver
Pale blond colour, hazy. The funky yeast character is evident, stronger in the aroma; the mouthfeel is dry, maybe weak. For this gravity, it packs enough.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is dry and funky, with a fair bit of barnyard funk, straw and dry rustic saison yeast. Flavour is bone dry, with rustic saison yeast, a little funk, straw and biscuity malt. Bone dry and a little muted, unsurprisingly, given the ABV. It's decent.
