LOVE YOURSELF // Brisk weather is also cozy weather, so for all you sour fans out there – you know who you are – we’ve lined up a new pastry sour, that is sure to put a hygge induced grin on your face. Brew is loaded with Peach, Blackberry, Vanilla, Cinnamon, and a little Belgian Candi Syrup, giving it pleasant notes reminiscent of Brown Sugar and Fruited Crumble Pie.
Why Brew? because brewing is Logan’s happy place and it makes us happy that he’s happy! …and we would be remiss if we didn’t express our gratitude that one of our first hires is back on the team after COVID forced him to leave the country and take a year-long hiatus with his family in Montana.

Poured from the tap. Murky pink with small white head. Lactose, blackberry, peach, a little muddled.

On tap at Another Beer Co, pours an opaque murky dark amber pink with a small white head. Aroma is very sweet and fruity, with lots of lactose, blackberry and peach. Flavour has slight metallic astringency along with lactose, blackberry and a touch of peach. If you're gonna do this dumb style, at least iron out the kinks. Rough and clumsy.

Has a murkyish sort of off-putting colour, a function of the blackberry and peach combo. On the nose, it's a bit unsettled, with some peach sour candy and maybe berry. Tart up front, then peach, then cinnamon, blackberry and vanilla, so all the major notes are coming out here. Not that any of this makes sense together in the same beer, because it doesn't. However, the execution isn't bad, so it does end up drinkable despite the weird concept.

Muddy purplish brown body and minimal foam, pretty ugly actually. Kind of a murky fruit jam on the nose and nondistinctive. Taste is cinnamon fruit, apricot maybe, full but ending tinny. ABC is usually smart enough to avoid the tin but here I guess they made an exception ... sadly.
