Hazy but dull straw. The head is kind of weak, too. The aroma is light and lemony. On the palate, similar. A weak lactic acid note, the lemon needs more pop, and the body is a bit light. I'm going to say this is disappointing because I wasn't expecting such structural issues.

Cloudy yellow with a frothy white head. Intense lemon, almost cleaner notes. Soured lemon and some peel with a lighter finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of 005.MKIII - Lemon Popper on 23 Nov 2021 at 20:18 - Score: Appearance - 7 | Aroma - 7.5 | Flavor - 7.5 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8. Weak hazy yellow body and no foam to speak of. Soft lemon aroma with slight hops, a little tart and piney. Taste is all lemon soda, grain maybe, ending quite wet. Vague tartness maybe, but still more soda than beer.

On tap at 33A, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of fresh lemon, a little lemon zest, and a touch of lacto. Flavour is loaded with lemon, plenty of lacto and moderate acidity. Typical kettle sour, with a yogurty palate and little depth. Uninteresting, but competently made.
