Aged in 2nd use rum barrels. If these Jamaican barrels could talk I am sure they would the Duppy (spirits and ghosts in Jamaican Patois) that possess their souls. Bone dry amber base, spice, and coconut from the oak, rounded out with rich red fruit, and pomegranate tartness.

Poured from the tap. Fairly dark amber brown with small off white head. Dark red fruits, light tartness and barrel character. Also a feint hint of something metallic. Average.

Medium reddish brown body and tepid foam. Great tart red ale aroma, acidic barrel, sour red wine malt behind it. Taste is chewy tart malt, barrel wood, red wine notes and a vinous tart finish. Really hitting its mark well.
