Clear gold body with some okay foam. Aroma is nice soft chewy grain and some lager sweetness. Taste is sweet cracker and honey, slight cereal, ending smooth. A little easy but certainly enjoyable.

Hazy light brown. Thin head. Light crackery notes. On the palate, it’s thin, has no particular malt complexity. Would not peg this as an altbier in a blind tasting.

On tap at Moody, pours a hazy dark amber / burgundy with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dark fruits, toasted nuts and bready notes. Flavour is rather tart, followed by stale bready malt, and light toasted nuts. What the...? Why is this sour? Not good.
