Poured from the tap. Clear-ish light copper gold with small white head. Virtually no haze. Chewy malt, mild pine hops, it’s okay I guess.

There is a slight haze to it, but the word means slurry or trub these days and it's not that. Thick head. Piney and somewhat cheesy hop nose. Malts aren't bad - toasty and crystal malt chewy. So it's obviously an old school west coast IPA, not a hazy. But at the same time, the recipe isn't bad. It's balanced but it does suffer from not having bright, fresh-tasting hops.

Clearish orange body and good foam. Nice pungent candied pine on the nose, chewy in a good way. Taste is more candied pine, soft biscuit notes, ending with lingering sweetness and soft dry grain notes. A more malty affair than you'd normally find in a hazy but still quite nice.
