330mL bottled 06.2025, drunk May 28, 2026.
Phenols and caramelized sugars with musty yeast and damp basement notes, but no wort, thankfully. Smells about as Belgian as most La Trappe.
Sweet, for sure, maybe not too much so, with some dryness on the end and a strong wildflower honey character with floral aspects and a pretty decent body, all told. Certainly not thin, yet nor is it syrupy or too sugary. The floral bitterness, although odd, helps to balance, somewhat. As with most NAs, I'm very pleased any time they aren't thin and seltzery. This seems very reasonable, clean and fairly flavorful. No idea what's with all the mega-low ratings. Honestly, this is about as good or better than the average (crappy) La Trappe beer.

Mild bitterhet i avslutningen.

Bottle - certainly looks the part - dark amber with a think off-white head - body is fairly full and texture is creamy - flavors of dark bread, clove, light caramel, slight dark fruit - the yeast character is there in the background, reminiscent of Westmalle Dubbel, but it is pretty faint - light bitterness on the tail end, with lingering yeast character - for and alcohol-free dark Belgian, I’d say it’s pretty dang good.

Aromas are dark malt, candy sugar and a bit of Belgian yeast with a touch floral. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose but worse. Soapy floral comes out much more. Drain pour. I wouldn't cook with it.
