Dark brown almost black with a three-finger tan head. Aroma was roasted grains and burnt toast. Taste was darkly roasted grains. Good beer.

Black body with off white head. Malt and roast aroma. Malt bready taste with a hop edge.

Dark chocolate malt, ash, and hay aroma. Dark chestnut brown with moderate tan head. Mildly sweet chocolate malt, and mildly bitter ash and dry hay flavor. Good body.

Süffiger, trockener und leicht bitterer Röstmalz-Beginn. Das Malz steigt dabei an, die Bitterkeit bleibt auf hohem Level, rund. Langer Nachhall. 8/10/9/9/8/9

330 ml bottle. Murky dark brown / red with a big fluffy head. Roasted malt, caramel, licorice, dried pear, plum, citrus notes, molasses. Malty sweetness, dry bitterness. Medium to light bodied, watery texture, soft carbonated, dry malty sweet finish. Nice rural Schwarzbier!
