Handpull cask (with sparkler) at the Ale Stone, Aylestone. Light to medium gold and clear with a small tight white head. Light grassy notes, hay and a little bit of buttered toast in the aroma. Sweet taste just at first, changing to a tenacious bitterness to the finish. Big bitterness and a cavalcade of English hop in the finish. Soft carbonation. A fair bit of character in this little beer, even if it isn't quite my cup of tea.

Cask at the Pup and Duckling, Solihull. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, malt, light citrus, big woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Tasty.
