Very nice version of the style. Great balance of hops and roast. Super clean, super crisp, reminds me of 21A back in black. Beery xmas 2021

From the Beer Hawk Advent Calendar. Aroma is roasty, coffee. A tangy berry, slightly resin edge. Dark and murky. Thick foamy beige head. Initial sour tinged berries and fruits. Followed by coffee and charcoal heavy bitterness. Spice. Citrus edge throughout. Medium bodied. Slick verging on creamy. Low key fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. Nice enough but muted.- the macro boys skimped on the hops.
