A naturally sparkling dry cider made from over 300 varieties of apple grown at altitude. Grown, pressed and bottled at Prospect Orchard.
This Petillant Naturel cider was pressed in 2019, wild fermented and bottled before the end of fermentation, leaving the residual sugar to finish fermenting in the bottle resulting in a light carbonation.
The complex blend of apples is lifted by the carbonic acid produced during fermentation, producing a cider that is a true reflection of the land.
Most of our ciders age for at least a year before we bottle, but this was an exceptional cider that deserved to be bottled young.

750ml bottle from Welsh Mountain Cider. Orangey gold colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of fruity apple, caramel hint. Taste is tart, tangy, apple, fruity, caramel hint, with some citric acidity notes and mellow soft tannin. Sparkling, medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry lightly tannic finish. Well balanced, nicely drinkable.
