4oz pour at Churchkey’s Night of the Living Ales 2014. Pours a pinkish hued gold with lots of sudsy, soapy white head. Nose has some surprising hoppy notes at first, soapy, some macerated grapes, mild herbs, dusty wood. Flavor is mildly sweet, straw, mild berry, mild herbs, mild wood. Chalky finish. Well balanced and very nuanced.

On draft at ChurchKey in D.C. Pours a clear reddish brown with an off white head. Aroma of chilis. Vinous flavors with pepper notes. Quite unusual and tasty.
