Can. Golden body with a light haze and a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of white sugar, custard and apple crumble. Flavour of rhubarb and cream soda. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. This is sweeter than expected but pretty tasty. Fierce’s do ‘unusual’ beers so well because they’re usually well judged and very drinkable.

Can from Eebria. Cloudy gold, small consistent white head, roaring carbonation. Aroma fruity tart rhubarb with a sweetness to balance. Taste of pale malts, fruity moderate tart rhubarb, sweetness, floral-grassy bitter hop bite. Smooth, low carbonation but a touch more would have worked better. I really like this as its still recognisable as a beer with fruitiness coming through well.

11 June 2024. At Fierce Beer, Edinburgh. Shared with the lovely Anke!

A: clear pale golden, small, off-white head.
A: bubblegum, ripe banana, wtf.
T: sweet bubblegum & (wine gum) candy, wtf again.
F: bittersweet old bubblegum.
P: medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation.
Disastrous, this couldn't have been the intention? Perhaps a bad batch, but even though we pointed this out to the bartender & (presumed) brewer, they didn't really notice anything wrong with it and we got dismissed with "everybody has a different taste". Well, not to this extent, I hope.

Can from a Sainsburys in Glasgow. Hazy gold in colour, with a white head. Light cirrus character, with some earthy rhubarb in the background. Finish was semi-dry. Fine.
